Some of the most common operations include:
• Locating lots for burial.
• Coordinating the excavation by our contractor.
• Keeping accurate records of available lots for sale, lots sold and burials.
• Selling lots.
• Mowing, trimming and cleaning the grounds.
• Maintaining the buildings and equipment.
• Assisting other departments as needed.
Oakland Cemetery is now available for view digitally! A kiosk location map is being created that will be placed at the East Rollins entrance to the Cemetery. This will allow citizens trying to locate their loved ones the ability to find the plot location with a set of coordinates. The City hopes to have this in place by the end of July 2008.

Burial information is also available at the Randolph County Historical Society.
