Municipal Auditorium
The Moberly Municipal Auditorium is a historic landmark in downtown Moberly. Built in 1939, its Art Deco architecture and charm make it the perfect location for you to host your meeting, reunion, wedding reception, birthday party or any other event that will enjoy a classy atmosphere at affordable prices.
The Municipal Auditorium is currently undergoing a HUGE renovation right now! It started in the Fall of 2009 with a facelift of the exterior, including brick cleaning and repair, and a replacement of all of the windows and doors. Starting in 2010, the Auditorium will see a major renovation done to the interior, including:
- A new wheelchair-accessible elevator and ADA upgrades
- Refinished wood dance floor and stage
- New stage curtains, lights and sound
- A new kitchen on the main floor
- A new color scheme and paint job on the main floor
- Much more!
Renting the Auditorium is now more affordable than ever! Instead of a “flat rate,” we now offer an hourly rate. This makes having a smaller event super affordable.
