Auditorium Improvements
The Auditorium’s air conditioners (which date to the 1970’s) were replaced in the spring of 2014.

Meditation Garden
Initial design work was conducted by Rosalee Mason with the Magic City Master Gardeners in conjunction with Moberly Parks and Recreation.

Thompson Campground Shower House
The shower house at Thompson Campground in Rothwell Park was constructed at the end of 2014 and opened for the 2015 season.

Rothwell Park Trails
Moberly Parks and Recreation resurfaced the asphalt trails throughout Rothwell Park and the Howard Hils Athletic Complex in September 2016.

Candy Cane City Resurfacing
Candy Cane City's loathed pea gravel was removed in the spring of 2019 and replaced with a new bonded rubber surface.

Fox Park Tennis & Pickleball Courts
The old tennis courts were demolished and replaced with modern dedicated courts: 1 tennis and 2 pickleball courts.

Athletic Complex Parking Lot
In October 2019, Moberly Parks and Recreation delivered on its second promised project of the current sales tax period, adding nearly 60% parking capacity through an additional 330 space parking lot project at the north end. This will position the Athletic Complex well for youth leagues, tournaments, and special events such as the annual 4th of July Extravaganza - approximately the 4th largest show in the state.
