Assistant Finance Director

The City of Moberly is currently accepting applications for employment for an Assistant to the Finance Director. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing internal accounting and reporting of all city revenues and expenses. Performs finance project duties as assigned, including all monthly reconciliation, general ledger accounting procedures, assistance in annual budget preparation. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or business is required. Municipal accounting experience preferred. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of three to five years experience in cash management and accounting. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Position range $50,000 - $60,000 plus benefits. Must be willing to live within the city limits of Moberly.
