The Board of Adjustment is now taking applications for the vacancy of an unexpired term. Meetings are as needed on 3rd Wednesday of any given month at City Hall and
terms are 5 years in length.
The Board of Adjustment is primarily a quasi-judicial body rather than an advisory or legislative one. Its role in zoning administration is specifically limited to three types of tasks:
- The appeal of an administrative decision or interpretation
- The granting of variances for cases of unnecessary hardship
- Other matters referred to the Board of Adjustment
