7 BRIDGES ROAD CSO BASIN SLUDGE REMOVAL
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the 7 Bridges Road CSO Basin Sludge Removal will be received, by the City of Moberly, at the office of the Public Utilities, until 12 PM local time on November 12, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of removing sludge from the 7 Bridges Road CSO Basin.
Bids will be received for a single Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Public Utilities, 101 W Reed Street, Moberly, MO 65270 (660-269-8705 ext. 2059). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined online at www.moberlymo.org/Bids.aspx and www.questcdn.com (QuestCDN#9363605). A $22 fee is required for download of bid documents from QuestCDN.
Nondiscrimination in Employment - Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon non-refundable payment of $100 for each set. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “City of Moberly”. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10 AM local time on October 24, 2024 at the 7 Bridges Road CSO Basin.
Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of 5% of the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.

Missouri Department of Natural Resources Water Protection Program approval is required prior to removal and land application of sludge. Contractor shall not perform these tasks until written approval has been issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Owner.
