Communication Operator Employment and Application

The City of Moberly Police Department is accepting applications for a Communications Operator. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. The individual answers multiple telephone lines, radio calls and dispatches calls to officers. Must have knowledge of computers and be able to perform multiple tasking.

 Annual Salary $31,428

 City Pays for employee’s: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Retirement (LAGERS), 11 paid Holidays

 Housing Allowance $300 per month, must live within the City Limits of Moberly to be eligible

 Up t0 $26 per month towards a gym membership

 Vacation (After 6 months of service), Sick Leave, Life Insurance


 Uniforms Shirts Provided, Uniform Allowance (After 12 Months of Service)

   In-Service Training, Outside Seminars and Training
