Transfer Station

What is Accepted

This facility was established to accept household, construction/demo, bulk and limited heavy waste. Normal trash that could be disposed of through regular trash collection service will not be accepted.

Items Not Accepted

This facility is also limited by the same restrictions as the landfill. Items not accepted include: 

• Shingles (Accepted at Maple Hill Landfill)
• Explosives
• Batteries of any type
• Vehicle parts
• Major appliances
• Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCDs)
• Radioactive material
• Regulated hazardous waste
• Regulated infectious waste
• "Special Profiled Waste"
• Tires* unless chipped, shredded or quartered
• Waste oil
• Yard waste
• Medical Waste
• Liquids
• PCB's
• Dead Animals
• Septic Waste
• Asbestos
• Other Unacceptable Materials as determined by our management

Note: Does not apply to Commercial customers or Contractors even if the business is in Moberly. Commercial and Contractors pay Non-Resident fees

Additional Fees:

• Load not Tarped: $25 per load
• PPE-Safety Vest: $4 each
• PPE-Hard Hat: $12 each
• Non-Freon Appliances - $10 each
• Freon Appliances - $25

Payment is by credit card only.

Maple Hill Landfill

WM suggests that all Non-Residents utilize Maple Hill Landfill located in Macon, MO. The fees vary slightly and is much safer and easier to dump loads. Cash Customers can easily empty loads into the containers which are only about 4' high.

Additional Information

All loads must be tarped or a $25 charge will be applied. Prices subject to CPI Increases annually. Customers will need a hard hat and safety vest at the transfer station and can purchase them from WM.
